Game Changers

Live the video game evolution in this fascinating journey that explores the past and uncovers the future of gaming.

In this highly interactive exhibition, visitors explore how innovation has shaped the video game industry from Pong to the photorealistic games of today, while also looking to the future of gaming. Featuring 120 of the most influential games in history, the exhibition looks at how audio, storytelling, graphics, and gameplay are combined to create immersive experiences for players of all ages and interests.

Visitors can play games that have significantly changed the gaming experience, from Pac-Man and Tetris to Flower and Adventure. They can also step inside a game to become a character, try operating a supersized Nintendo controller, test their knowledge of video game music, and experiment with augmented reality.

Developed and produced by the Canada Science and Technology Museum, in partnership with the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and Electronic Arts.
