Choose your membership
Family – $135/year
Ideal for adults with children and grandchildren, a family membership includes up to two named adults and children or grandchildren (ages 17 and under).
Individual – $68/year
Enjoy browsing museums on your own? If so, an individual membership is perfect for one named adult (age 18 or older).
Daycare – $135/year
Perfect for a group of tiny tots or a special needs group, a daycare membership offers weekday admission for up to 12 people from a single daycare or special-needs group.
Discounts and add-ons
- 15% discount if at least one named member is a senior (ages 60 and up), a student (ages 18+ and enrolled in school), or lives out of town (at least 100 kilometres outside of Ottawa). Only one of the aforementioned options can be claimed per membership purchase. Not available for daycare memberships.
- An annual parking pass can be added to any membership purchase for $39
- All memberships offer guest add-on options: +1 guest ($40 extra), +2 guests ($60 extra)

Ingenium offers an auto-renewal option for members. This convenient option not only ensures that membership benefits continue without interruption, but saves you an additional 10% off future automatic renewals!

Yes! You may use your membership as early as the day of the purchase. A confirmation email is sent to the provided email address as a proof of membership, along with e-ticketing instructions.
Yes, gift memberships are a great idea—and can be sent directly to the recipient. Select the “Purchase as a gift” option under the appropriate category above.
Yes. The members-only parking add-on can be purchased at any time during the course of a membership. If you wish to purchase a parking pass after you have purchased a membership, please call the membership office at 613-991-3053 or 1-866-442-4416.
No, guests need to be accompanied by a named cardholder with the + guest add-on.
There’s no limit to the number of times you can visit the Ingenium museums during your membership period.
Ingenium belongs to two great reciprocal agreements: the Canada Association of Science Centres and the Association of Science and Technology Centres. These agreements allow Ingenium members complimentary admission to other participating institutions.
Please note:
- You must reside more than 150 km (90 miles) away from any institution you wish to visit
- You must show your Ingenium digital membership card to prove your membership
- You may be required to show proof of residency
- Only applies to family and individual memberships. Add-ons such as guests and parking are not recognized at participating reciprocal institutions.
- We recommend that you contact the institution you wish to visit beforehand to confirm their admission policies for reciprocal members
- Ingenium assumes no responsibility for how these agreements are implemented at other participating institutions
- Reciprocal agreements are subject to change without notice
