Biography

Adele Torrance joined Ingenium in 2017 as an archivist. She holds a master of archival studies from the University of British Columbia and a bachelor of arts from York University. Previously, Adele worked as an archivist at UNESCO in Paris, France, the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC, the Halifax Regional Municipality Archives in Nova Scotia, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Geneva, Switzerland. Adele’s professional interests include emerging trends in digital preservation, Indigenous content in archives, linked data, and archival descriptive standards and exchange.
