Kerry-Leigh Burchill
Director General, Canada Agriculture and Food Museum
Biography
Kerry-Leigh Burchill has served as the director general of the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum since 2009, having joined Ingenium in 1995. Before becoming director general, she worked for Ingenium in policy and strategic planning, corporate development, and commercial operations. Ms. Burchill has served on international Boards including the International Association of Agricultural Museums (AIMA), the Association of Living History, Farming and Agricultural Museums (ALHFAM), and the Advisory Council for the Inter-American Institute for the Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA delegation in Canada).
Kerry-Leigh is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, with a degree in social science and continues to proactively cultivate collaborative opportunities for cultural celebrations, heritage preservation, and a greater appreciation for the role that agriculture plays in our quality of life.
