Strawberry peach smoothie

This refreshing smoothie bursts with fruity flavour and is a great source of vitamin C and fibre.

Ingredients
- 2 cups (500 mL) milk or milk alternative of your choice
- 2 cups (500 mL) frozen peach slices (fresh works too, just peel them first)
- 2 cups (500 mL) frozen strawberry slices
- ½ cup (125 mL) plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) honey
- ½ tbsp (7.5 mL) ground flaxseed
Optional Add-ins:
Swap in your favourite fruits or toss in a banana for added thickness. You can also replace the ground flaxseed with hemp hearts or chia seeds for a nutritious twist.
Preparation
- Add all ingredients to a blender in the order listed. Secure the lid tightly.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into your favourite glass and serve.

Quick recipe tip – the easiest way to peel peaches:
To peel easily, score an X on the bottom of each peach, blanch in boiling water for 20–30 seconds, plunge into ice water, then slip off the skins. For firm peaches, use a sharp vegetable peeler instead.
