EcoExplorium

Ongoing

Step into a vibrant, living space where plants and invertebrates take centre stage!

In EcoExplorium, discover how healthy interactions between bugs and plants are essential to producing the food, fibre, and fuel we rely on every day.

Explore a range of interactive displays and hands-on activities that highlight the powerful connections in our farm ecosystems:

  • Watch honeybees hard at work in our observation hive ( From May to October)
  • See how we can grow fruits and vegetables indoors year-round with a working hydroponics system
  • Discover how worms transform food scraps into rich fertilizer through our vermicompost system
  • Test your knowledge by matching seeds to the plants they grow into
  • Take part in daily demonstrations and seasonal programs that shine a light on sustainable farming practices

EcoExplorium is always growing—check back often for fresh experiences and rotating displays!
