Makes about 4 servings.

Looking for something cold and sweet on a hot day? Enjoy this creamy milkshake bursting with strawberry flavour!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 mL) vanilla or strawberry ice cream (about 4 large scoops)
  • 2 ½ cups (625 mL) milk
  • 2 cups (400 g) fresh or frozen strawberries
  • ½ tsp (2.5 mL) vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Add the strawberries, ice cream, milk, and vanilla extract to a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Optional: top with whipped cream and a fresh strawberry!

Note

  • If using frozen strawberries, your milkshake will be slightly thicker – perfect for a spoon or wide straw!
  • Using strawberry ice cream will boost the berry flavour, but vanilla ice cream works great too, letting the strawberries shine.
