Earth in Focus: Insights from Space

A photo of Earth—taken from space—offers a truly remarkable perspective. But did you know these images also help us monitor the planet and address global challenges?

Earth in Focus: Insights from Space is a special exhibition developed by the Canada Science and Technology Museum, in partnership with the Canadian Space Agency. Learn the important role that space-based Earth observation plays in monitoring Earth’s changing systems and be reminded of how truly connected we are to our spectacular and fragile planet.

Through visually striking videos and photos of Earth from space, discover how data collected from space can help address global issues—such as feeding a growing population, keeping us safe from natural disasters, and protecting the environment.
