To honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, join us for a bilingual orange shirt beading workshop with Ojibway artist Kelly Nahwegahbow Marsolais. Learn traditional beading techniques as you create your own beaded orange shirt and take a moment to reflect on the meaning of this symbol and the legacy it represents.
This activity welcomes both beginners and experienced beaders. Parents and guardians are asked to remain at the Museum during the workshop. They are welcome to sit in free of charge to support their child. Adults wishing to create their own beadwork are invited to register for a spot.
