Crazy Kitchen +
Ongoing
Since the museum’s first opening in 1967, the Crazy Kitchen has been a favourite among visitors of all ages.
Through wonky visual cues and angled floors, walls and countertops, this dizzying experience demonstrates the impact of technology and design as it challenges your brain’s ability to navigate space, in a fun and engaging way.
The Crazy Kitchen + maintains the original interior that audiences know and love, plus a few new brain-teasing challenges. Test your sense of smell, trick your eyes into seeing colour where it doesn’t exist, and see how shadows can make an object look totally different.
In this playful space, visitors will discover how their senses and brain can fool them, changing the way they interpret their environment.
