Although they are the smallest animals on the farm, honeybees have one of the most important jobs: pollinating crops. By learning about the life cycle and needs of bees, students also learn how to protect pollinating insects. Students help put a bee hive together and learn how to extract honey.

This program is offered virtually via Zoom. We have implemented the following measures to ensure that our virtual programming is safe and secure:

  • Waiting room to prevent uninvited guests from joining the meeting
  • Controls in place to control if and when students can chat and share content
  • End-to-end encryption to ensure proper security
  • Recording of program is not permitted by any party

$140 per session. We request a maximum of 30 students or one classroom per session, in order maximize the educator’s ability to interact with your students.

In this engaging program, young students will meet the dairy herd, learn how they are milked, and get an up-close view of the needs of cows and their calves.

Meet the small animals

Tour the barn through two-way video to meet the sheep, goats, rabbits, and poultry. Students also get to meet the not-so-small pigs!

Hidden worlds: Under the microscope

Students will discover the hidden worlds of everyday objects that only a microscope can see! Select from a variety of objects to explore, then text their knowledge in a fun game.
