Life in Orbit: The International Space Station

What is it like to live in space? This exhibition tells the story of daily life aboard the marvel of technology that is the International Space Station.

Learn how the International Space Station works through the eyes of the astronauts who’ve lived there. Packed with interactive experiences, Life in Orbit explores the science behind the International Space Station – including how it came to be, and how it has stayed in orbit for 25 years.

The exhibition looks at cutting-edge research being done on board, Canada’s contributions to the International Space Station, and how it feels to live, work and play in a microgravity environment.

Exhibition highlights

  • Experience what it’s like to climb inside the International Space Station
  • See an astronaut suit, and actual objects from the International Space Station, including a space toilet and sleeping bay
  • Enjoy stunning views in a replica of the space station’s iconic Cupola
