Health in Space: Daring to Explore

Ongoing

Living in space is not for the faint of heart. Isolation, gravity, radiation and physical challenges all take a toll on the people brave enough to venture beyond our atmosphere.

Health in Space features the firsthand experiences of many Canadian astronauts, whether it involved maintaining muscle mass, or missing loved ones back home. The exhibition also showcases Dr. David Saint-Jacques, who served as crew medical officer during his mission aboard the International Space Station.

Exploring the many facets of human health in space, this fascinating exhibition reveals the important research being undertaken by Canadians, its potential for deep-space travel, and how it is helping solve medical challenges here on Earth.
