This summer- enjoy amazing programs the whole family will love!

This summer, join us for family-friendly activities at the museum*! From daily artifact demonstrations with collectible trading cards to a fun marshalling signal challenge and space-themed fun in our Exploration Station, there’s something for everyone. Come explore, discover, and have fun with us this summer!

Marvels of the museum

Daily at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Drop in to see which iconic artifact is being showcased in a special demonstration led by a knowledgeable museum guide. Discover amazing stories and fun facts about these remarkable pieces of history in an engaging demo that’s perfect for the whole family.

Bonus: after each demo, receive a collectible trading card about that artifact! Collect all five cards by September 1, and you can enter for a chance to win a helicopter ride!

Park the planes! Marshalling signals in action

10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Step into the shoes of a ground crew member or pilot as you learn basic marshalling signals, then put your skills to the test in a fun challenge to park all the planes at their assigned gates. This hands-on activity offers a fascinating look at the crucial role of clear communication in keeping our skies safe!

Exploration Station

Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ages 3 to 7

Step into the Exploration Station, a welcoming space where our youngest visitors and their caregivers can relax and explore together. Featuring space-themed activities—books and toys—families are invited to play, learn, and create memories at their own pace.

Reserve Hangar tours

Daily at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Go behind the scenes on a guided tour of the museum’s Reserve Hangar. Tours depart daily from the museum admission desk at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. This exclusive experience is limited to 15 people, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
